At OrigamiPlanet, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a 30-day return policy. Please read our return and refund guidelines carefully before requesting a return.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:
Unused and Unfolded: The origami paper must be in its original, unassembled condition.
Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging, including any included accessories such as instruction manuals, glue, postcards, or decorative elements.
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation is required.

📌 Note: Due to the nature of our product (DIY craft paper), partially assembled or damaged items cannot be returned unless they arrived defective or damaged.

2. How to Initiate a Return

If you would like to return an item, please follow these steps:
1️⃣ Contact Us: Email us at support@origamiplanet.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
2️⃣ Return Approval: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return address and instructions.
3️⃣ Ship the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back using a trackable shipping method.
4️⃣ Inspection & Refund: Once we receive the item and inspect it, we will notify you of the refund status.

📌 Important:

  • Items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at support@origamiplanet.com within 7 days of receiving the package with photos as proof.
We will offer one of the following solutions based on the issue:
Replacement: A new item will be shipped at no additional cost.
Refund: A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

💡 Tip: To ensure smooth processing, please inspect your package upon arrival and report any issues as soon as possible.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:
Used or partially assembled origami kits
Customized or personalized items
Gift cards
Discounted or sale items

If you are unsure about whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before making a request.

5. Exchanges

If you would like a different design or color, the fastest way to ensure you receive the correct item is to:
1️⃣ Place a new order for the desired product.
2️⃣ Request a return for the original item (if eligible).
3️⃣ Once the return is approved and processed, we will refund your original order.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without explanation.

To qualify, the product must be:
Unopened, unused, and in its original condition
Returned in its original packaging with all accessories
Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Shipping fees for returns under this policy are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Refunds

🔄 Refund Process:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • If your refund is delayed, please check with your bank or credit card provider, as processing times may vary.
